DOJ Fraud Settlements

The DOJ settled False Claims Act and other fraud allegations with Kolon Industries, Black & Decker, Yamada Manufacturing, Medical Center of Central Georgia, Deutsche Bank, Citizens Medical Center, Sprint Communications, Health Diagnostics, and Medtronic among others, for a total recovery of more than $2.7 billion.  Many of these matters were initiated by whistleblowers under the qui tam provisions of the False Claims Act.  Click here.
