State and Local False Claims Acts

State False Claims ActsIn addition to the federal False Claims Act, more than half the states and several local governments also have false claims acts with qui tam provisions, which allow citizens to pursue fraud on state and local funds.  While most are very similar to the federal version, there are significant differences among some.
