Jury awards ex-Ada County official $1.7 million in whistleblower lawsuit –  The plaintiff claimed he was fired, in part, for ordering an investigation into allegations that a manager within the Ada County commissioners’ office was harassing employees.  After just two hours of deliberation, the jury awarded him $1.74 million.  Idaho Statesman
