Wall Street fees wipe out $2.5B in New York City pension fund gains — “The analysis concluded that, over the past 10 years, the five pension funds have paid more than $2 billion in fees to money managers and have received virtually nothing in return.”  NYT

Glenmark Generics agrees to pay $25M to settle Medicaid fraud charges — The settlement resolves charges the company fraudulently reported inflated drug prices to the Texas Medicaid program.  TX

Air Ideal settles whistleblower charges for $250,000 — The settlement resolves allegations the company made false statements to the Small Business Administration to improperly obtain certification as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone.  DOJ

More evidence of VA whistleblower retaliation — VA Secretary Robert McDonald pledged to stop the agency’s pattern of punishing whistleblowers, but the Office of Special Counsel “found sustained examples of retribution against VA whistleblowers.”  Washington Times

New Mexico animal welfare whistleblower speaks out — Former Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department employee Carolyn Hidalgo filed a complaint with the city’s Inspector General Office claiming the department was allowing dogs with aggressive histories to get adopted, putting people at serious risk.  ABC
