Idaho anti-whistleblower Ag-Gag law declared unconstitutional — According to the Court, “[p]rohibiting undercover investigators or whistleblowers from recording an agricultural facility’s operations inevitably suppresses a key type of speech because it limits the information that might later be published or broadcast.”  NYT

LA pharmacist sentenced to 18 months for Medicare Part D fraud — Rouzbeh Javaherian, owner of Emoonah Inc., doing business as Westaid Pharmacy and Medical Supply, admitted to paying illegal cash kickbacks to Medicare beneficiaries to induce them to submit their prescriptions to Westaid.  DOJ
