Audit Reveals Serious Problems at GlaxoSmithKline Research Outpost in China – A confidential 2011 audit of the British pharmaceutical giant’s drug development center in China has come to light, revealing troubling practices including failing to report the results of animal studies before beginning human trials for certain drugs and payments to hospitals and clinics contracted to run trials that could be interpreted as bribes. NYT
