Three companies and their executives pay $19.5 million to resolve False Claims Act allegations pertaining to rehabilitation therapy and hospice services — Ohio based Foundations Health Solutions Inc., Olympia Therapy Inc., and Tridia Hospice Care Inc., and their executives, Brian Colleranand Daniel Parker, have agreed to pay approximately $19.5 million to resolve allegations pertaining to the submission of false claims for medically unnecessary rehabilitation therapy and hospice services to Medicare. Ángel María Villar, high-ranking FIFA official, is arrested in fraud inquiry — Ángel María Villar, the president of the Spanish soccer federation and a FIFA vice president, was arrested on Tuesday as part of a fraud investigation relating to matches played by Spain’s national team. NY Times
DMX pleads not guilty to tax fraud — The rapper DMX pleaded not guilty to 14 charges of tax fraud on Friday. After spending Thursday night in jail, he posted a $500,000 bond and was released. He is expected back in court on Monday, and faces up to 44 years in prison. NY Times
