Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on money laundering removes Myanmar and Papua New Guinea from its blacklist – As a result of their removal, the countries are no longer subject to FATF monitoring and will instead work with regional bodies.  The FATF is a Paris-based intergovernmental organization focused on combatting money laundering.
