Constantine Cannon has been appointed as lead counsel in a landmark healthcare antitrust case for a certified class of California employers and individuals that has sued Sutter Health in federal court for anticompetitive practices.  The certified class contends that Sutter’s actions has raised the price of health insurance premiums that they pay.  The following New York Times article discusses a case brought by the California OAG against Sutter, which raises nearly identical allegations as those made by the certified class, was filed more than five years after this private action, and is set to go to trial.  Click here to see article.
