Constantine Cannon Attorneys Mary Inman and Leah Judge Contribute to The Tech Worker Handbook

Posted  October 8, 2021

This week, Pinterest whistleblower Ifeoma Ozoma launched The Tech Worker Handbook, a collection of resources designed to help workers in the tech industry decide whether to speak out about wrongdoing.  The Handbook was created with funding from the Omidyar Network in partnership with the Signals Network, the Whistleblowing International Network, and Lioness Strategies.  Constantine Cannon’s own Mary Inman and Leah Judge provided assistance with content and drafting.

The handbook has four sections to help would-be whistleblowers: Legal, Media, Security, and Stories.  Our expert whistleblower attorneys contributed to the Legal Section, which provides information about the key whistleblower reward programs, including the qui tam provisions of the False Claims Act, the SEC Whistleblower Program, the CFTC Whistleblower Program, and the IRS Whistleblower Program.  The section also provides insight into working with attorneys, reporting violations internally, and documenting evidence.

Although The Handbook is a great compendium of information, it is not intended to offer legal advice.  The Handbook encourages would-be whistleblowers to seek out experienced whistleblower attorneys for advice tailored to their unique situation.
