Osob Samantar

Osob Samantar is a staff attorney in Constantine Cannon’s Washington, DC office.

Ms. Samantar currently works on complex commercial litigation matters, antitrust matters before the Federal Trade Commission, and False Claims Act litigation. Ms. Samantar worked on institutional capacity building in Somalia and played an instrumental role in the opening of the Somali Embassy, Washington D.C. in 2015. In 2017, she worked with global diaspora activists, Famine Resistors, to fight the humanitarian crisis in Somalia.

Ms. Samantar graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2013. During law school, Ms. Samantar interned at the Sprint Nextel Corporation and the Federal Communications Commission, International Bureau. Additionally, she served as the Senior Editor for the American University Sustainable Development Law & Policy Brief and as a member of the ABA Regional Negotiations Competition Team.

Ms. Samantar graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2008 with a double major in political science and international affairs. Ms. Samantar is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
