Simon Albert

Simon Albert is an associate solicitor in the Firm’s antitrust law group. Simon’s practice focuses on all aspects of EU and UK competition law across a wide range of industries, including antitrust damages actions. Simon has previously acted for clients in legal proceedings and merger notifications in numerous jurisdictions, including a number of multi-jurisdictional cartel investigations.

Prior to joining Constantine Cannon LLP, Simon worked for international law firms in London, Paris and Brussels, as well as the UK competition authority.

Simon read History & German at Jesus College, Oxford University, before completing the PGDL and LPC at BPP Law School in London. Simon also holds a Masters Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

One extra focus of his practice has been the handling of restitution claims to artworks looted before and during World War II. Prior to joining the Firm, he advised on such matters on a non-profit and pro bono basis, and in that regard, now forms part of the Firm’s Art and Cultural Property Law group.
