Alysia A. Solow is a partner of Constantine Cannon LLP. She directs the firm’s e-Discovery Practice Group and is the firm’s Hiring Partner.

Ms. Solow has practiced at the firm since 1997 and has broad experience in complex commercial litigation, antitrust litigation and counseling, and the implementation of compliance and monitoring programs. She has particular experience in the airline, payment systems, insurance, telecommunications, fashion, advertising and publishing industries. She represents clients in both federal and state court and counsels clients on matters before the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and American Arbitration Association. In addition, Ms. Solow represents several retail clients with respect to various commercial and business matters, including contract negotiation and review.

As Chair of the e-Discovery Practice Group, Ms. Solow is involved in all legal and technology issues relating to electronic discovery and information governance. She counsels clients on e-discovery law and best practices, litigation readiness, defensible collection and preservation strategies and litigation holds. Ms. Solow negotiates discovery matters, litigates discovery-related motions and takes and defends Rule 30(b)(6) depositions on data infrastructure, collection, preservation and spoliation issues. In all of her work, she focuses on developing cost-effective discovery strategies for her clients. With a focus on technology-assisted review and data analytics, Ms. Solow has built a sophisticated in-house team to assist clients with litigation and internal and government investigations. Ms. Solow has overseen all aspects of e-discovery in some of the country’s largest antitrust lawsuits.

Ms. Solow counsels and speaks on international discovery and data protection matters. With clients worldwide, including in Europe, Asia, Canada, the Middle East and South America, the firm relies on Ms. Solow’s extensive international discovery experience, which includes navigating data protection laws and blocking statutes.

Ms. Solow graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she received the American Jurisprudence Award in Property, the Thomas Gallivan, Jr. Memorial Award, and the Irwin Law Merit Scholarship. She was also recipient of a grant from the Public Interest Law Group for her work with the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund. Ms. Solow graduated with honors from Union College in Schenectady, New York.  Ms. Solow was selected to the 2013 through 2016 Super Lawyer lists for both New York Metro and the New York Women’s Editions.

Ms. Solow is a member of the antitrust section of the American Bar Association, the New York Women Antitrust Lawyers Group and The Sedona Conference® Working Groups on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG-1) and International Electronic Information Management, Discovery and Disclosure (WG-2).  She was a contributor to the ABA Section of Antitrust Law’s Antitrust Law Developments (6th edition, 2007).  Ms. Solow is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut, and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
