Nahal’s distinguished background in high-profile litigation and arbitration will bolster Constantine Cannon’s London office.

Constantine Cannon LLP is pleased to announce Hardeep Nahal, a leading commercial litigator and arbitrator, has joined the firm’s London office as a partner.

Mr. Nahal has over 29 years of experience in high value commercial litigation and arbitration, representing clients from the UK, US, India, and Europe. His practices include complex commercial litigation, international dispute resolution & arbitration, and class action. His work has spanned multiple sectors including energy, financial institutions, and private equity.

Mr. Nahal has handled many substantial and high-profile cross-border corporate and financial cases including Maxwell, BCCI, the Lloyd’s of London litigation, Parmalat, TXU, Kaupthing, Tajik Aluminum, the fallout from the Lloyds Bank / HBOS bailout, BTA Bank and the LIBOR litigation. He is a Solicitor-Advocate and has appeared on behalf of clients in the High Court and Court of Appeal and in arbitrations and mediations.

Other high-profile cases in Mr. Nahal’s body of work include successfully representing groups of investors against major UK financial institutions, a string of successful arbitration proceedings, and representing steel, aluminum, and energy companies in numerous high-profiled cases.

Mr. Nahal is a former Chairman of the Trinity Law Alumni Association and is a current member of numerous associations including the Law Society of England and Wales, the Society of Asian Lawyers, the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates, the City of London Law Society Litigation Committee, and the Committee of the Commercial Litigators Forum.

Mr. Nahal has been a speaker and panelist at many conferences including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales Forensic and Expert Witness Group Annual Conference and the European Offshore Alert Financial Intelligence & Investigations Conference.

Mr. Nahal earned his BA in Law, with Honours, from Trinity College in Cambridge, where he also went on to earn his LLM and MA degrees. Mr. Nahal is admitted as a Solicitor Advocate Civil and as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
