Johanna Hoyos

Johanna joined Constantine Cannon LLP as a trainee in 2022. Johanna works primarily with the Art and Cultural Property Law Group and regularly assists the Antitrust Group, Commercial Litigation and Whistleblower Representation Group. Johanna’s training contract includes a secondment to Phillips, the international auction house.

Prior to joining Constantine Cannon LLP, Johanna gained in-depth experience in commercial law and litigation at various boutique law firms and in-house at a large tech company. Johanna combines this legal experience with her past work experience at Sotheby’s, where she worked on the record-breaking David Bowie auction, as well as work experience at Christie’s.

Johanna has a particular interest in commercial disputes, complex art transactions and Anti-Money Laundering issues.

Within the Art & Cultural Property Law Group at Constantine Cannon LLP, Johanna works with a broad range of clients, including collectors, galleries, auction houses and artists on a variety of contentious, transactional and regulatory matters.

Johanna read International Relations at Queen Mary, University of London and holds a Master of Laws in Commercial and Corporate Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Johanna is fluent in German.
