DOJ Fraud Settlements

The DOJ settled False Claims Act and other fraud allegations with VMware, OtisMed, Education Affiliates, Covenant Hospice, IAP Worldwide, Hebrew Homes, Children’s Hospital, and First Tennessee Bank, among others, for a total recovery of roughly $400 million.  Many of these matters were initiated by whistleblowers under the qui tam provisions of the False Claims Act.  Click here.
