Constantine Cannon Whistleblower Team Named a “Practice Group of the Year” by Law360
We are delighted to announce that our Constantine Cannon Whistleblower Team has been named by Law360 as a Practice Group of the Year (subscription required; download here). We believe that we are the first whistleblower practice to have ever been awarded with the honor, which typically goes to defense-side firms under Law360’s Government Contracts category.
We are humbled by the selection. It reflects a very strong year for our clients and cases, including a number of worthy highlights:
-
-
- We represented the whistleblower in the largest antitrust whistleblower case in history, which settled in 2019 for over $350 million in criminal and civil penalties.
- We represent Boeing whistleblower Ed Pierson who successfully testified before Congress and convinced the FAA to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the facility that produced Boeing’s ill-fated 737 MAX airplanes.
- We settled the first cybersecurity whistleblower case ever successfully litigated under federal and state False Claims Acts.
- We work alongside DOJ as lead counsel for the whistleblower in the largest False-Claims-Act lawsuit for Medicare Part C risk-adjustment fraud.
-
Alongside these headline-grabbing cases, we work on numerous other impactful cases that are still under seal but are sure to hit the news when they resolve.
Stay tuned to Law360 for a profile of our practice and the people, both clients and lawyers, who make this rewarding work possible.
