Federal judge blasts NYPD’s stop-and-frisk policy as unconstitutional racial profiling – Manhattan federal judge Shira Scheindlin found the practice improperly targets young black and Hispanic men and appointed a federal monitor to oversee major reforms.  NYT, Reuters

Government sues to block US Airways/American Airlines merger – The DOJ and several states sued to block the $11B merger claiming it would lead to higher prices and fewer choices.  Washington Post

HHS investigating overprescribing of antipsychotics for children – The probe was prompted by findings that the number of children receiving Medicaid-funded prescriptions for these drugs (Abilify, Risperdal, Seroquel and Zyprexa) has skyrocketed in recent years.  WSJ
