Ex-Insys employee in U.S. kickback case loses fight to smoke pot — Jeffrey Pearlman, a former sales manager for Insys Therapeutics who was indicted in December for his role in an alleged scheme to pay kickbacks to doctors to induce them to prescribe the opioid Subsys, has lost the argument that he has a constitutional right to use medical marijuana while on bail. Reuters
