Whistleblower leaks report showing design flaws in nuclear waste treatment plant – An anonymous engineer working at the Hanford nuclear waste plant has released an internal report that cites serious problems with the plant’s proposal to clean up and store nuclear waste left over from the production of nuclear weapons during the Cold War.  Washington Post

Former owner of New York City HIV/AIDS clinics sentenced to prison for Medicare fraud – Oscar Huachillo, the former owner and operator of several clinics in the city, was hit with a sentence of over 10 years in prison for billing Medicare for drugs that were administered to patients at highly diluted levels and tax evasion.  USAO-SDNY
