VA drops criminal probe against hospital whistleblower.  A Veteran’s Affairs hospital medical worker who blew the whistle with a secret appointment list revealing that numerous vets languished while awaiting care is no longer the subject of a criminal investigation, but still has not been restored to his prior position.  Fox.

FDA bans imports from India plant of Emcure Pharmaceuticals.  “In an ‘import alert’ posted on its website on Monday, the FDA said it had barred imports from Emcure’s Hinjewadi manufacturing plant in the western state of Maharashtra, after an inspection revealed the company was not meeting manufacturing quality standards.”  Economic Times.
