“Indispensable” whistleblower to get $33.5 m of Lidoderm settlement – Federal Judge rules former Endo Health Solutions sales rep who filed a lawsuit over off-label marketing of pain treatment Lidoderm will get $33.5 million from the government’s $140 million settlement.  Reuters

U.S. settles FCA claims against compounding pharmacy for $8 m –Jacksonville-based compounding pharmacy, Blanding Health Mart, pays $8.4 m to settle allegations under the False Claims Act that between February and April 2015, the pharmacy improperly billed the government for compounding pain prescriptions that were medically unnecessary or prescribed by doctors who had never seen the patients.
