First Tennessee Bank to pay $212.5m to settle False Claims Act charges of faulty mortgage loans — According to the government, First Tennessee through its subsidiary First Horizon Home Loans knowingly originated and underwrote mortgage loans insured by HUD’s Federal Housing Administration that did not meet applicable requirements.  DOJ
