No company is too big to jail? — That’s the message USAG Eric Holder has taken to the streets as the DOJ prepares to bring criminal charges against two of Europe’s largest banks, Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas.  Washington Post

Baptist Health settles whistleblower suit for $2.5M — The Florida based network of hospitals and medical providers was charged with violating the False Claims Act by submitting claims for medically unnecessary services and drugs.  DOJ

Jail time for owners of Los Angeles area ambulance service — The owners of Alpha Ambulance were sentenced to 6-9 years in prison for Medicare fraud for providing unnecessary ambulance services and then lying about it.  DOJ

Long Island pharmacy owner sentenced for Medicaid fraud — A pharmacy owner has been sentenced to 1-3 years in prison for his part in a $16M scheme to bill Medicaid for unfilled prescriptions.  WSJ

Former NFL players contest concussion settlement — Seven former NFL players suffering early stages of brain disease have challenged the $765M NFL concussion settlement for failing to cover the most serious cases of disease related to head trauma.  ESPN

Prestigious colleges don’t make you happier in life — That is the finding of a Gallup Poll of 30,000 college graduates done in conjunction with researchers at Purdue University.  NPR
