Wisconsin Home Health Agency to Pay $3.7 Million to Settle Fraud Suit, Pleads Guilty to Criminal Charges — Deaconess Home Health and its owner agreed to pay $3.7 million to resolve civil fraud liability under the federal False Claims Act and Wisconsin’s Medicaid False Claims Act.  Deaconess also pleaded guilty to criminal healthcare fraud, while the company’s owner entered into a deferred prosecution agreement.  Eastern District of WI US Attorney

US: Shipping Services Corp. Bilked Navy for Marine Services — The government joined a lawsuit alleging that Inchcape Shipping Services knowingly overbilled the Navy for ship husbanding services, including the provision of food, arrangement of local transportation, waste removal, telephone services, ship-to-shore transportation and force protection services.  DOJ
