Trial begins in whistleblower lawsuit against Bozeman, Montana Deaconess Hospital — Larry Slate, who was a radiation safety officer and medical physicist, claims he was fired for complaining, among other things, that the hospital treated patients with radioactive materials before tests confirmed they had cancer, used the wrong radiation treatment for a patient, diluted radiation doses and misplaced nuclear material.
