California targets Morgan Stanley for alleged role in global financial crisis – California Attorney General Kamala D. Harris filed suit against Morgan Stanley for allegedly misrepresenting complex investments that contributed to the global financial crisis and to major losses to California’s public pension funds, which provide retirement security to California peace officers, firefighters, and teachers. Some fat-burning supplements contain banned stimulant drug – The FDA sent warning letters to seven supplement manufacturers after researchers revealed Thursday that dietary supplements sold in the United States contain pharmaceutical doses of the banned stimulant Oxilofrine. National Public Radio
