Army contractor settles FCA suit for over $1M — United Technologies Corporation (UTC) has settled allegations that one of its subsidiaries, Goodrich Pump and Engine Control Systems, used counterfeit microprocessors in component parts that eventually went into US Army Helicopters. USAO Connecticut

DOJ intervenes in FCA suit over home sleep tests — SNAP diagnostics allegedly billed Medicare for medically unnecessary services by ordering more nights of sleep tests than they knew were necessary. The government also alleges a kickback scheme. The fraud was brought to light by two whistleblowers. USAO Northern District of Illinois

Guam Senator introduces local FCA — Senator Mike San Nicolas has introduced a bill that mirrors the federal FCA but would apply to those that have worked with the government of Guam.
