Whistleblower suit: Ousted Louisville Metro Police major demoted as retaliation. —  A Kentucky police officer has sued his former employer, alleging that he was demoted in retaliation for reporting concerns of departmental mismanagement directly to the Louisville Metro Council. The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission Holds Meeting on Passage of Whistleblower, Witness Protection Law — The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission is holding a one-day colloquium to urge the passage of a draft bill designed to provide legal protections for whistleblowers.  The bill was drafted following a regional summit last year where all members of the Economic Community of West African States were urged to implement such legislation.
