Senate Passes VA Reform Bill  The legislation, passed by a bipartisan voice vote, would make it easier to fire VA employees and establish a “VA accountability office” to receive anonymous whistleblower disclosures. ABC News

DOJ Boosts Wells Fargo Whistleblowers — “The U.S Justice Department has weighed in on a long-running whistleblower lawsuit against Wells Fargo, in a move that could aid the two former employees that brought the case against the San Francisco-based bank.” Charlotte Observer

U.S. Intervenes in Affordable Housing Case  “The United States has intervened in a lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles and the CRA/LA (formerly the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles) alleging that they falsely certified compliance with federal accessibility laws in connection with claims submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for housing grants.” DOJ
