Wyoming psychologist charged with 234 fraud counts – Wyoming psychologist Gibson Condie, accused of submitting about $6.8M in fraudulent health care bills to Wyoming Medicaid, has been indicated by a federal grand jury; Condie submitted the claims through his business, Big Horn Basin Mental Health Group Inc. Petrofac chief Marwan Chedid suspended during fraud probe – Oil services firm Petrofac suspended its chief operating officer, Marwan Chedid, following a corruption and bribery probe by Britain’s fraud squad; the United Kingdom’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO) announced its investigation into the firm earlier this month. Chicago nonprofit head spent state grant money on personal expenses – Franshuan Myles, head of defunct Chicago nonprofit Divine Praise Inc., is accused of using $60K in Illinois Youth Recreation Corps grants for personal expenses; testimony in her federal fraud trial revealed that rather than hiring impoverished West Side youth to instruct other kids in physical activities and arts and crafts, Myles used the grant money for personal expenses including utility bills and an auto loan.
