JPMorgan Securities on Hong Kong “name and shame” list – JPMorgan Securities is the first global bank to appear on Hong Kong’s “name and shame” list after the stock exchange turned down a JPMorgan-sponsored IPO application; appearance on the list indicates shoddy or incomplete work. Green Party members in the European Parliament propose EU-wide whistleblower protections – European Greens, stating that whistleblowers brought to light 40% of all detected fraud cases in 114 countries, moved to establish EU-wide legal protections for those who reveal unethical or illegal government or corporate activities.
