Constantine Cannon Attorneys Elected to Leadership Positions in the Armenian Bar Association

Posted  December 7, 2021

In November 2021, Constantine Cannon Attorneys Taline Sahakian and Grant Petrosyan were elected to various positions in the Armenian Bar Association at the organization’s 32nd Annual Meeting. Constantine Cannon hosted the association’s panel discussions, board meeting, and elections at its New York office.

Ms. Sahakian was elected to the 18-member Board of Governors, on which she will serve a three-year term, and was elected as a Vice Chairperson of the association. She also moderated a presentation entitled “Free Speech on the Roberts Court and the Trump Court,” which fostered a timely discussion of First Amendment law.

“It’s an honor to serve this association, where I can connect with attorneys with such diverse expertise and insight,” said Ms. Sahakian.

Mr. Petrosyan, who joined the Board last year, was re-elected as Secretary of the association. Mr. Petrosyan also serves as the Chair of the association’s NY-NJ-CT Chapter. He stated, “This forum is so important, and I look forward to continuing to serve the community it has created.”

The Armenian Bar Association was formed in 1989 to provide an arena for lawyers of Armenian heritage to come together socially and professionally and to address the legal concerns of the Armenian community.
