Constantine Cannon LLP Announces Two Partnership Promotions

Constantine Cannon LLP is pleased to announce that James Kovacs and Harrison McAvoy have been promoted to partners at the firm.  W. Stephen Cannon, Chairman of Constantine Cannon LLP and Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office, and Jeffrey I. Shinder, Managing Partner of the New York Office and head of Constantine Cannon’s antitrust and litigation and counseling practice group, state,  “We are delighted that James and Harrison have joined our partnership ranks.  Both have demonstrated top notch trial and oral advocacy skills, as well as antitrust prowess.”

James works in Constantine Cannon’s Washington, D.C. office where he focuses on large-scale antitrust litigation and counseling and commercial litigation.  James’ practice concentrates on the intersection of antitrust and healthcare.  He also has experience representing and counseling in several other industries including payments, real estate, manufacturing and repairs, aerospace, and consumer products.  In addition, James regularly represents and advocates for his clients before the federal and state enforcers.  He graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law with a concentration in health law and has a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University.

Harrison is a member of the firm’s Antitrust practice, focusing primarily on representing plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes antitrust, class action, and commercial litigation. Harrison has significant experience in the intersection of antitrust and financial services and technology industries.  He has litigated cases and developed experience in a broad range of other commercial contexts, including air travel, real estate, and automotive industries and involving platform-based business models.  He graduated cum laude from Rutgers School of Law and has a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
