Question of the Week -- Are you worried about the stock market?
By the C|C Whistleblower Lawyer Team
Starting last week, the U.S. stock market began a serious downturn for the first time in years. The market managed to recover a bit on Tuesday, but even then, the market showed a high degree of volatility. After years of a peaceful, steady market, investors seem to have forgotten what market volatility looks like.
There are many suggested reasons for the slump-fear that the tax bill will overheat the economy, rising interest rates, a global market unwind, a natural correction, etc. Regardless of the reason, few are brave enough to predict when, or if, this new volatility will end. What effects it will have on the rest of the economy remains to be seen.
What do you think? Are you worried about the stock market?
