Constantine Cannon Law School Scholarship Recipients: Fifth Place Essay
Constantine Cannon is delighted to share the essay that placed fifth in our first annual Scholarship Essay Writing Contest. The contest asked entrants to discuss the importance of whistleblowers. Our fifth place winner, Sahdia Khan, wrote about a whistleblower who inspired her, British Intelligence Specialist Katharine Gun. As Ms. Khan writes, Gun, who exposed the United States’ top-secret request that Great Britain blackmail UN Security Council members to vote to authorize the Iraq War, “epitomizes what it means to be a whistleblower.” Click here to read the full essay. Congratulations, Ms. Khan! And stay tuned for next week, when we’ll share the fourth place winner’s essay.
